1. Revenue Split (Standard Completed Session)
For every successfully completed consultation session, the Consultant shall receive 70% of the gross session fee. ConsulTOpen shall receive 30% of the gross session fee as the platform commission, inclusive of payment gateway charges such as Razorpay. GST shall be charged separately as per applicable Indian tax laws.
2. Settlement Cycle
Consultants are paid on a 10-day rolling settlement cycle calculated from their onboarding date.
- If onboarding occurs on the 2nd of any month, settlements are normally processed on the 12th, 22nd and 2nd of the following month (approximately three settlements per month).
- If onboarding occurs on the 15th of any month, settlements are normally processed on the 25th, 5th of the following month and 15th of the following month.
3. Settlement Requirements
- Valid Indian bank account with correct IFSC code.
- Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport or Voter ID).
- PAN Card (mandatory for TDS).
- GST Registration Number (if applicable).
- Signed Consultant Agreement on record.
Settlement may be delayed until all required documents have been verified.
4. Revenue Distribution During Cancellation & Refund Scenarios

5. Hold Provisions
ConsulTOpen reserves the right to hold, delay or withhold settlement payments in cases including fraud investigations, confirmed policy violations, pending chargebacks or payment disputes, regulatory or court-ordered holds, incomplete documentation, or suspected money laundering or financial crime.
Consultants shall be notified in writing within 48 hours of a hold being placed, including the reason and expected resolution timeline.
6. TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)
ConsulTOpen shall deduct TDS wherever applicable under Indian income tax laws. TDS certificates (Form 16A / Form 26AS) shall be issued quarterly. Consultants are responsible for filing their own income tax returns.
